Litigation

The firm has extensive litigation experience, with a substantial number of cases in the courts, and also provides independent legal auditing. We are active in a wide range os spheres: civil, commercial, financial, industrial, tax, constitutional, labor, intellectual property, and family law. Our attorneys appear before courts of first instance, including the administrative sphere, and in state, federal and higher courts.

Public and Administrative Law

The firm covers all aspects of legal consulting for public law, advising on all stages of bidding procedures (when required), from formulating bids and contracts to legal monitoring of performance of the subject-matter thereof.
The firm drafts reports and bills of law, and bylaws for public or private entities, especially in the third sector (foundations, institutes, and other forms of non-governamental organization).

Business Law

The firm has considerable experience of business matters, from incorporating companies of different kinds, drafting contracts or bylaws, through to deciding business strategies. In this spehere it provides legal consulting for the tax, corporate, labor, commercial and civil areas of practice on a contract basis by job (or case) or monthly (legal retainer).

The firm provides consulting services on copyright-related issues and has represented film and video production companies, publishers and performing artists. We also pursue a wide range of procedures to register or protect marks or patents, and act in legal defense against infringements.

Environmetal Law

The firm has experience of actions related to the environment and has provided consulting services to help companies and third sector entities obtain environmental licenses.

Real Estate Law

Since its origins, the firm has been closely involved with real estate matters, and has been active in several property developments. We provide ongoing consulting for construction companies and administrators of properties, draft contracts and advise on purchase and sale of properties. The firm has experience of both legal and extrajudicial auctions.

International Trade

The firm provides legal counseling on trade policy, merges and acquisitions, import and export control and transactions for Brazilian and multinational corporations.

Banking and Securization Law

The firm drafts and analyzes banking and similar contracts, including legal issues arising from them.

Criminal Law

The firm actively assists the Public Prosecutors' Office in selected prosecutorial proceedings, whreas most of time acting as defender for the accused. We are substantially experienced in providing consulting services for companies and their senior officers in the criminal sphere and our firm has investigative capabilities as well.
